Texas Holdem Poker 2019

After a week of 12-plus hour days grinding away at the felt in the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, the 2019 World Series of Poker Main Event has come down to nine players. Nine players and one will walk away with $10 million and poker immortality.
Five North Americans and four Europeans. An EPT champion with a monstrous chip lead. A poker industry lifer who crushes the WSOP Main Event. A nosebleed regular with over $8 million in cashes. A little-known software engineer who busted a legend with the semi-bluff shove heard 'round the poker world.
Each has his own story, but they all have one thing in common: they've spent the past week making their way through a field of 8,569, and they all earned the right to play for $10 million on poker's grandest stage.
Have a look at how the players stack up coming into the Final Table.

The favorite heading into the final table appears to be German-based EPT reg Hossein Ensan. With more than $2.6 million in cashes, including an EPT Prague title, few could have imagined the lead with which Ensan would end Day 7.

Second in chips but certainly not in the hearts of a robust rail, Garry Gates had the well wishes of many a high roller coming his way from the poker Twitterverse. They're familiar with Gates from his years working in the industry, formerly with PokerNews and for the past 10 years helping run PokerStars' live events and VIP services. Mike McDonald Pretty much Nailed it with this tweet. I'm not a big believer in karma but my god after so many years of putting up with every single high roller diva in poker my god @GarryGates deserved that ace on the river and 10 million dollars of poker player money that are going to follow!

After a week of 12-plus hour days grinding away at the felt in the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, the 2019 World Series of Poker Main Event has come down to nine players. Nine players and one will. The games are intended for an adult audience. The games do not offer 'real money gambling' or an opportunity to win real money or prizes. Practice or success at social casino gaming does not imply future success at 'real money gambling.' Let's now take a closer look at Texas Holdem strategy and the pattern that is essential for beginners to learn. The chart shows how many hands you are supposed to play depending on which position you sit in at the table. Example: You are sitting as player 6 to the left of the dealer button and you have a king of spades and a 7 of spades.

Zhen Cai with 60.6 million is the only other player anywhere near Gates and Ensan. One player nobody wants to see gain any momentum is high-stakes pro Dario Sammartino. The Italian with the piercing stare and $8 million in cashes would be the clear favorite, all things being equal. Luckily for everyone else, all things aren't evened out, and he sits sixth in the counts with a little more than thirty big blinds.
However, plenty of play remains as even the shortest stacks — belonging to start-of-day leader Marchington and Day 6 giant slayer Timothy Su — are good for twenty big blinds. In the WSOP Main Event's famously slow structure, they'll have a bit of time to look for a spot to double right back into contention.

1.Introduction to Texas Hold’em Poker

Texas Hold’em is one of the easiest poker games to play, and it has caught the global poker scene by storm. It is the most popular poker game in casinos and basements alike and Hold'em is the game that many professional poker players prefer to play. This poker game should start with at least 2 players. There can be as many as 22 players, but commonly there are around 2 to 10 players in a game.

2.Basic Rules

Build your best possible five cards hand out of your two pocket cards and the five community cards. The player who shows the best hand wins!

Just as the cards show in the picture below: Player A’s best combination of cards would be two pair, Kings and Threes; while player B’s best combination is one pair, Kings. So player A is the winner.

Pocket Cards Each player is dealt 2 cards face down. These 2 cards are your pocket cards. You can bet after you get your pocket cards.
Flop: The first three community cards. You can bet after the Flop.
Turn: A single community card. You can bet after the Turn.
River: The final community card. You can bet after the River.

3.Betting Structure

Fixed Limit: This Betting Structure means that the maximum amount that can be bet in each betting round is set.

No Limit: This is where you can bet any amount at any time. But the amount you bet should be higher than the minimum limit of this round.

4. Rules

A. The Dealer and the Blind
At the beginning of the game, the system will deal one card each to the players who take part in the game. The players should compare their cards. The one with the biggest card is the dealer. For each hand, the system will do this to determine who the dealer is.

After the dealer is determined, the player to the left of the dealer is required to place a small blind and the player two to the left of the dealer is required to place a big blind before the cards are dealt. The amounts of the blinds depend on the limits set for the game. In fixed limit poker, the big blind puts up a bet equal to the minimum limit. The small blind puts up half that minimum limit. Your blind will be deducted from your account.

B. Betting Begins
After the blind is anted, the betting begins with the player to the left of the two who posted the blinds. Each player is dealt two cards, face down. These are known as the 'Pocket cards.'

C. Place you bet
When players get their pocket cards, they can place their bet. This is the Pre Flop round. Then the dealer flips the next 3 cards face up on the table. These 3 cards are the Flop. There is another round of betting starting with the player to the left of the dealer after the Flop. After the betting is concluded, the dealer will flip the Turn, then the River. Likewise, there will be a betting round after both the Turn and River.

D. Action
Players can bet, call, raise, check or fold when it's their turn to bet.
Bet: Place a bet when there is no bet in the pot.
Call: Follow the other players and bet the same amount as someone else.
Check:If your bet amount is the same as the other player or no player placed a bet, you can choose to check to give up your chance to make a bet and give you the chance to raise the bet when betting comes back to you.
Raise: Raise is to increase the amount of the bet. If the next player wants to continue playing, he needs to place the same bet or raise the bet, or else he will have to fold.
Fold: Folds the current hand and forfeits.

A betting round ends when all the players call and place a bet. Then the next betting round starts. If all players except one fold in a betting round, the remaining player will be the winner. You have to keep in mind that the player to the left of the dealer always acts first. However, due to the 2 mandatory blinds, the player to the left of the two who posted the blinds will be the first to call.

E. All-in: Bet all your chips. If you don’t have enough chips to call, you can also choose all in to call.
In a No Limit game, all in is a kind of strategy to bluff your opponent. Once a player chooses all in, there will be a side pot split from the main pot. The total in the main pot is consisted of the bets that are put in at the beginning of the game up to and including the all in bet. If the game continues after a player chooses All-in, that player can win the bets in the main pot but not the side pot. In that case, another player with the second best hand will win the remaining bets in the side pot.

Pot: All the bet players make will be put in the pot. The player who shows the best hand wins! There are cases where players with equal hands share the winnings.

Side Pot:When a player choose All-in and the other player calls, the other players with surplus chips can continue to bet and these bets will be put in the side pot.
